立川バプテスト教会は、立川や多摩地域にお住まいの皆さまに開かれた、小さくてあたたかい教会です。イエス・キリストの愛を土台に、日々の生活の中で希望と平安を見いだす場所を目指しています。私たちの集まりは、とても家庭的で、ひとつひとつが手作りのような雰囲気です。
Tachikawa Baptist Church is a small and welcoming community open to everyone living in the Tachikawa and Tama areas. Founded on the love of Jesus Christ, we seek to be a place where people can find hope and peace in their daily lives. Our gatherings are warm and home-like, each one crafted with care, almost like something handmade.
礼拝では、聖書の言葉を学び分かち合い、賛美と祈りの中で神さまに心を向ける時間を大切にしています。教会に来るのが初めての方も、信仰に関心を持ち始めた方も、どうぞ安心してお越しください。
In our worship services, we cherish the time to learn from and share the words of the Bible, turning our hearts toward God through songs of praise and prayer. Whether you are visiting a church for the first time or have just begun to take an interest in faith, you are warmly welcome to join us without hesitation.
礼拝後には、手作りの昼食会を開いております。どなたでも、いつでも歓迎しています。また、昨年から子ども向けの楽しいプログラムも始まりました。歌やゲーム、絵本や聖書のお話など、子どもたちがのびのびと過ごせる時間です。ご家族でぜひご参加ください。皆さまとの出会いを、心からお待ちしております。
After the worship service, we host a homemade lunch fellowship open to everyone at any time. Since last year, we’ve also started a fun program for children, including songs, games, picture books, and Bible stories — a time where kids can relax and enjoy themselves freely. We warmly invite you and your family to join us. We truly look forward to meeting you all.

主任牧師からのメッセージ
皆さん、こんにちは。
今週日曜日（11月30日）から、キリスト教の暦では降誕節（アドベント）第1主日を迎えます。アドベントとは、クリスマスに備えて心を整える4週間のことで、“待つ季節”とも呼ばれます。この時期、私たちは
（1）キリストの誕生を待ち望み、
（2）神の希望と光を思い起こし、
（3）祈りと静まりを大切にしながら歩みます。
年末の慌ただしさの中でも、心のペースを少し落とし、神さまの恵みを味わいながらイエス様を待ち望みたいものです。
聖書には次のようにあります。
「闇の中を歩む民は、大いなる光を見た。」（イザヤ 9:2）
この言葉が、今の私たちの歩みにも静かな励ましとなりますように。
Hello everyone,
This Sunday, November 30, marks the First Sunday of Advent in the Christian calendar. Advent is the four-week season in which we prepare our hearts for Christmas. It is often called a “season of waiting,” a time when we
(1) look forward to the birth of Christ,
(2) remember God’s hope and light, and
(3) make space for prayer and quiet reflection.
Even in the busyness of the year’s end, Advent invites us to slow our pace, recall God’s grace, and wait with expectancy for Jesus.
The Scripture reminds us,“The people walking in darkness have seen a great light.” (Isaiah 9:2) May this promise bring hope and encouragement to our journey today.
